Tall development on Bostons waterfront

Russia Wharf will be built around and above some 19th century builidngs on a wharf near south station and the financial district. The develpers plan on breaking ground in 2004. The main builiding is 400'+ not counting the spire. It will be right on the new park left by the big dig, and near many 500 and 600 footers.

That rendering makes it look kinda evil. I like evil though.

The rendering does look pretty dark & evil looking, doesn't it? More good news for Boston!

I read that this building is in the final approval stages. It is being built by Equity Office REIT, and they have lots of money, so it should move forward quickly once permitted. I think it is supposed to break ground this summer. It will be 22 stories built on top of the 10 story buildings already there, with renovation to those old buildings. I don't know what color it will be. I doubt it will be as dark as the rendering (I hope). It will have 6 floor under grade for parking.
