Whoa, the title scared me for a second. The last thing anyone should want is New Tampa becoming the city's new or alternative downtown.

This would be impressive only if the mayor would lean on her idiot council members to approve projects like the Kress block, instead of claiming against all sense and logic that said project is "too dense" for downtown.

Mayor Iorio talks a really good game, but I just don't see any actual leadership on anything substantive coming from her.
