Actually I'm planning on taking pics of the 23rd Street Corridor soon, I just haven't had time yet. It will include the Linwood neighborhood, historic Northwest Baptist Church, Taft Middle School, OCU, The Asian District, The Paseo, and the capital complex.

Thanks again for your compliments.

Incredible pictures, as always. I've come to expect it, of course.

It seems that not only are there more projects and events every time I visit downtown, but there are more people too.

I hadn't seen the river area in the daylight yet, except driving by, so I enjoyed those. Glad to see some people using the boats too. Cool.

Nice pictures. OKC has some really nice (and diverse) architecture. I remember visiting back in Summer of '02 on business. We stayed at some highrise hotel on the northwestern edge of the city near a large medical center. That night we went into the DT area and ate at a place that served seafood by the bucket and dumped it out on the table in front of us. It was really different. Then we took a tour around the Memorial area (I guess they called part of that Gasoline Alley)... and then we drove past the capitol dome which.. I think... was new at the time. Anyway, the city looked very clean. Of course, I've been impressed with Oklahomans for a long time. They're very genuine people and aren'f full of bullsh*t just to impress.

Wow, those are all very impressive pictures. Thanks to everyone who shared.

By the way... the Skirvin is awesome, and I love the idea of underground access tunnels. I wish Shreveport would extend its tunnels and make them public like that. It's got to be something cool for tourists to check out.

It used to be creepy, and parts of it still are. It's only open on weekdays business hours, so I don't know about a big tourist draw. Maybe when art galleries are all finished down there more people will go see it, but for now it's still just a transportation corridor.

Some people argue that the Underground takes away from pedestrian traffic (and it does) but I think that the tunnels are a great asset for the city's business community.

I think it's awesome for transportation. My wife works on the outskirts of downtown Shreveport, and if she wants to go into the CBD for lunch she has to first walk across a viaduct and then walk across many major intersections. She would be well-served by something like that to get into the CBD for lunch.

Anyway, I think it's pretty cool... definitely a unique way of getting around. Kind of like a subway but without the train...
