Chatham County contributes 5% of GSU's students. That is hardly a majority.

Bulloch County contributes 7%.

Atlanta-Marietta-Sandy Springs MSA contributes about 50%.

Savannah MSA contributes 9%.

Statesboro Regional Trade area (minus Effingham and Bryan Counties) contributes 14%.

Atlanta Metro has about a ten times larger impact on Georgia Southern University than Savannah. Additionally, out-of-state students comprise twice that of Savannah students. I just want to clear up any confusion that Savannah has a major impact on the only Research/Doctoral University in South Georgia, because its impact is minimal.
