Thanks for those pictures; I lived in the Las Cruces area for a couple of years in the mid-80s and always loved El Paso; but in those days there wasn't much to do downtown....how is it now-a-days? It's such a beautiful city, especially walking from Juarez across the Rio Grande- with the Franklins as a backdrop.

I love El Paso skyline shots (like #3 above) with the rugged mountains in the backdrop. A lot of people don't think of Texas as having any mountains and wouldn't guess such shots were of El Paso. Thanks for posting!

I visit my sister near Albuquerque a couple of times a year, once I thought I was going to go visit El Paso but it didn't work out. I did get to Las Cruces though. I'd still like to go visit El Paso sometime, or visit Las Cruces again sometime. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly but is the name of the mountain in the background Franklin Mtn?
