I have it on ESPN Gamecast.  From the sounds of it it has got to be one of there top games if they win this one. This is as crazy as I have ever gone over a game on ESPN Gamecast. I wish I got CBS Sports Network but unfortunately I don't get it with Verizon FIOS. Yet I get NBC Sports Network :/

Same here.  I'm starting to hate my Verizon FIOS for leaving CBS Sports Network off my tv package!  Looks like the majority of VCU's remaining games are broadcast over CBS Sports Network!  Looks like I won't be seeing VCU play for a while.  So frustrating!

I watched last night's game on http://vcuathletics.com/.

I think they televise all home games with their own broadcast crew.

The Atlantic 10 Tournament is March 14 - 17 at the brand new Barclays Arena in Brooklyn -- just a subway ride from Manhattan.  So I'll be able to see The Rams in person. :good:

Thanks for the link, Burt.  I'll try this next time and see what happens.

YAY

I missed the entire game and couldn't even listen in on the game on Ram Radio (107.3) because we went out to dinner :P

But I am still happy that the Rams were able to keep on truckin' in Pittsburgh.

Also, quick fact about UR, VCU's next opponent: They beat the Charlotte 49ers team yesterday as well, and I believe they were undefeated and tied for 1st in the A-10, so that knocks them out of the struggle for first. Now I think it's just Butler, VCU, and Xavier. Plus, Butler hasn't played their 4th conference game yet, so right now, they're 3-0, while Xavier and the Rams are 4-0. So technically, Butler is in 2nd until they win (or lose) their fourth game. :D And that loss we handed Duquesne yesterday was their 4th loss, making them 0-4, the bottom of the conference.

Will be waiting and watching for that cross-town rivalry game ;)

The University of Richmond toppled Charlotte 81 to 61 last night at The Robins Center before 8,000+ fans.

Thursday night in the 9,000+ seat Robins Center, The Spiders, 2-2 in A-10 meet VCU, 4-0.

The game will be nationally televised on CBS Sports, but you can also catch it on Ram Nation channel,

VCUAthletics is not allowed to stream the UR/VCU game tomorrow night (Thursday 01/24) because it is a Nationally televised game on CBS SPORTS which is a subscription channel on Verizon Fios.

Ratz!  :P

Guess I'll have to go back to original plans and trudge out in the icy cold and possibly snowy New York night to see an off-off B'way show.

Thanks for the "heads up" on this, but it's bad news for me...I don't get CBS Sports Network.  I'd venture to say that very few people do.  Sad.

^^Same with me, as well :(

I think St. Joes was on CBS-SN, right? I have FiOS, and no CBS-SN, which is why I came to vcuathletics.com's streaming page and they had it. I think st. Joes game was on cbs-sn....not sure...but whatever channel it was... i didn't have it ;(

But this is sad..... :( :(

Eric and RVA, I just found this UR athletic page and it says that although the game is sold out. it "will be available to fans locally, nationally and worldwide on TV, radio, internet and mobile devices."

If either of you can figure out how to get it on internet please let me know how to do it.

Tomorrow night's game (Saturday) at Duquesne can be heard on RAM RADIO:

http://www.bigoldies1073.com/pages/14677236.php

Scroll down and you'll see  the VCU/UR game is listed on the above 'bigoldies 1073' site.  Does that mean we can listen to it?

I listened to the Duquesne game last Saturday on my computer with the help of earphones.  You have to click on the symbol at top right of the webpage to get sound, but it's hard as Hell to turn it off.

Well, games over....yeah... But I will say this: if I had to actually feel content with handing a win over to any team, it would be the Spiders. A true cross town rivalry :) They put up a really hard fought battle at the Robins Center, and it connected. They won by I think 10, 84-74. But I'm okay with that. The way I see it, this is a good win for Richmond, and these are two teams I care about deeply. If the rams are out of it, I'm always cheering for the Spiders, and vice versa. So of course beating a ranked team is a good thing. I was listening on ram radio, 107.3. Now, we have to hold our breaths and hope for the best with lasalle.... But anyway, I'm not sad: good game, spiders :)

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY :excl:  :excl:

Hut!  Hut!  Hut!

When you see this ad on Sunday, know that it was produced by Richmond's Martin Agency for one of its clients -- Pizza Hut. :good:

VCU CRASHED UMass' hopes of a road win by obliberating in the second half on Thursday at the Stu, and tonight they take on George Washington to continue their winning ways.

More on Thursday's victory over UMass:

And about tonight's game with GW at the Stu:

Also, unlike a lot of games, that are on the unwatchable (for me anyways) CBS Sports Network, this one is being televised on Comcast SportsNet. Game time is.... it's 5:59 right now, so..... an hour and one minute. ;)
