Those are great pics. Didnt know SD has such a vibrant downtown. Are they mainly tourist or people that live there? What is the population downtown? Is there a major shopping distrcit there?

Both tourists and residents are a part of the downtown scene. The latest figures say there are 27,500 downtown residents, and that number expected to grow significantly. There is a regional shopping center downtown, as well as an entertainment district. Other amenities downtown include a new ballpark, a major convention center and the cruise ship terminals, all of which make for an active city center.
