Are you multilingual, with something other than english as your native language?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

nope, i guess i just dont write well without a dictionary/thesaurus, and i usually dont skim my posts before i enter them....is that why you ask? typing too fast makes it look like i dont speak good english, but i am an honest to God good conversationalist, i swear ;)

p.s. when i wrote that long pst above, i just ogt in from a night of drinking downtown, and though i wasnt trashed, i had to take a cab home, so...im sure when i re-read it tomorrow its gonna sound retarded...how funny is it that i come home drunk and start posting urbanplanet discussions about economics at 2:30am, i am just so absorbed by this site, i cant stop checking it threoughout the day....are you multi lingual? i think i am starting to understand tagalog (my gfs parents native toungue) slowly but surely....its a necessity to know what theyre saying...haha. goodnight everyone, im gonna crash.

Cotuit went all the way with this or at least found info that goes all the way.

Look at the last post on this page:

Duh, I've been looking all over for that!

However, in 2000*, Houston had 1,953,633 people in 617 square miles. If Boston swallowed up it's neighbours to grow to Houston's area, it would be...

*I could only get 2000 figures for all cities and towns.

What does all this prove? Absolutely nothing. A city's size is but one way to classify it.

PS: Here's what Boston would look like if it were the size of Houston:

Nice work, Cotuit -- that map is especially great! Just imagine if people from Scituate to Natick to Marblehead all had "Boston" addresses. What a great depiction of the difference between "urban" and "city." All that the term "city" tells you about newer metros is what kind of government an area has.
