West Palm Beach condo boom

Downtown West Palm Beach is undergoing a major transformation.

Fourteen condo projects are under construction or in the planning stages, representing nearly 4,000 units that will be completed within the next two years, according to the city's Downtown Development Authority. A few miles north of downtown, along the city's Flagler corridor, 2,000 condo units are under construction or on the drawing boards. By comparison, 1,220 units have been built downtown since 2001.
