Taylors Development Updates

Ruby Tuesday is nearing completion of its first Taylors eatery, its fifth operation in Greenville County. The new 175-seat restaurant will open Tuesday, 16 August. It is located at Taylors Square on Wade Hampton Boulevard in front of Walmart Supercenter. It will staff about 80 part-time and full-time employees.

Radio Shack will be a tenant in a new strip center across the street from Taylors Square. The chain will relocate from its existing 1,600 square feet Edwards Forest Plaza store to a new 2,500 square foot concept store.

Greer State Bank is nearing completion of its fourth location on Wade Hampton Boulevard previously occupied by Pizza Hut. Unlike its three Greer locations, a board of directors composed mostly of Taylors residents will advise the course of the new branch. The new 3,200 square feet bank will feature safe deposit box access via palm prints and pin numbers.

The 16,000 square feet Shoppes at Hampton Commons is going up at Wade Hampton Boulevard and Saint Mark Road. Two or three out of eight to ten spaces are being reserved for restaurants. Wade Hampton Commons, located on Saint Mark Road behind the Shoppes at Hampton Commons, will feature sixteen 2,200 square feet condominium-like office duplexes.

Does anyone know how the new Fuddrucker's across from North Hampton Market is coming along?

Both Fuddrucker's and Brusters should be open in August some time.

The Strip in that same development will contain a Boston Brick Oven Pizza.

Also there is a Discount Tire store planned and I know of three other things for that development but I can not share yet.

I look forward to Boston Brick Oven Pizza. Taylors has been without a pizzeria for years since Pizza Hut went stupid and closed. Pizza Hut's sales have sharply declined because they keep closing their biggest money maker, their dine in locations.

Is Taylors also getting a Starbucks near North Hampton Market, or is that down the road near Taylors Square?
