Did I ever mention, the world's strongest magnetic field is in Tallahassee? Located at the National High Magnetic Field Labratory in Innovation Park.

Tallahassee is also the city of 7 hills with FAMU sitting on the highest hill. I wonder why they didn't call us Rome, FL. That would of been a cool name.

FAMU does not occupy the highest hill in Tallahassee. It is said that our highest elevation (300 ft above sea level) is in the Northern Part of the City, near Lake McBride.

the WCTV Channel 6 News Tower is 2000 Ft Tall. That makes it the 5th tallest structure in the world.

Hmm...Rome, GA got t's name a similar way. It too is situated upon seven hills & even has a satue of Romulus and Remulus (the two legendary founders of the original Rome) in the city that was given to us by THE Rome. Perhaps you guys should request one.

I thought so about FAMU being highest hill in the city. Maybe we should propose 2 statues of the legendary founders of Tallahassee. I can see them being bronze with fierce looks on their face. Where is this WCtV channel 6 tower? If we can make a tower that tall why can't we have builings 3/4 of that size?

Built in 1987, the tower is just north of Tallahassee in Wigham, GA I believe. Better having it in a rural, less commercial location where the signal can spread out stronger.

Talk about cheap land... the North Florida Fair Grounds leases that property from the county for $1 a year! Under the conditions that they produce an annual fair.
