It is a very attractive building at the corner of Coffee and Brown Streets.  It has gaslights on the outer facade.  The Brown Street side is red brick, while the Coffee Street side (front) is painted gray or tan (I think it's something like that).  There are large graphic banners over the windows right now.  The pictures are of young people dancing.  Really COOL! B)

Yep, it is directly across from The Corner Pocket. That whole small stretch of Coffee Street is really an exciting place to be, especially after dark.

Drove by Earshot late last night and noticed it was open and extremely crowded. It looks (from what I could tell as I passed) like it may also be an internet cafe!? I'll have to look into this later.

I walked by last night also, and couldn't tell if they were open or not (this was earlier that you went by Skyliner - around 7:00 PM). There were people working inside, and an employee who saw us walk by said hello. The building looks great on the outside, and the inside looked cool also. I look forward to seeing what it's all about!

It's a second location, from what I understand. I really like the concept they've got for the downtown location. It's going to do great, I believe!

I haven't been inside the downtown location yet, but I hope they keep a similar music selection to what's found the Laurens Road store. I love to go there to get some of the less common music I enjoy (e.g., house music).

I was there on Saturday. It's very nice, but the selection hasn't been filled to its maximum capacity yet. I hope they finish it up soon. It is definitely one of the most uniquely furnished shops in the whole City.

I like the "Mix & Burn" concept. I hope it works out well for Earshot.

I was surprised to see that Wal-Mart actually offers this same option online:

They will mix it for you, and then mail it to you. Pretty cool!

I wasn't suggesting that people support Wal-Mart instead of Earshot. I was just pointing out that custom-made CDs must be gaining in popularity for a retail giant like Wal-Mart to be offering them.

Looks like the new Earshot is a winner. I was in for a while on Friday evening, good crowd, busy. Great addition to downtown!

That location is an excellent one! And there's very convenient parking nearby too! I agree with you - it's definitely a winner for earshot and a plus for downtown, as well!

I also noticed that earshot is sponsoring one of the stages at Fall for Greenville this year, too!

Have you noticed the really cool sign/sculpture of a large ear on the side of earshot? B) I've been meaning to get a photo and post about this sooner, but keep forgetting to take my camera in that direction. Maybe someone will beat me to it.

I think that depends on your perspective. I knew this thread was about Earshot, so I immediately saw an ear. Then adfter I looked at it for a second I realized it was also the ES. Its a cool idea
