I'd personally like to see ALL of the proposed high rise buildings come to fruition in the coming year and begin construction.

I agree with that! I would be happy if, within the next year, we see construction on The Camperdown, Pinnacle on Main, and maybe one other (Tower at Falls and Broad is probably too much to ask at this point).

Another year has passed since this thread was discussed. Have we made progress toward our goals for Greenville?

We still haven't seen any of those highrises built yet, but here's what has happened or should soon:

-the Peacock was unknown at that time and is about to begin construction.

-City Hall Plaza site should begin demolition soon, followed by construction.

-A big one to factor in now is the Gateway site, which we should hear more about soon, right?

-The Point project wasn't known. It shouldn't be too long before demolition begins there.

-The Childrens Museum is about to take off.

-Brick Street Lofts appeared and was built.

-The GO Center is searching for a 'home'.

What else, and how does this change or affect your vision for Greenville in 8 years? Is it on-track?
