tell me about it. but you shoudl see all the immigrants at portland high, it IS hard to believe. but this is my conclusion: either the website meant that there are 355 total kids at portland high that speak foreign languages (not 355 different languages) or there are only like a bunch of major languages that have many different dialects spoken. either way, portland high is extremely diverse as compared to any other school in the state ( except deering and maybe lewiston)...p.s. it is situated in the middle of downtown and is walking distance from housing projects, munjoy hill, and the park ave area...which are all very diverse neighborhoods...
