back on topic: the botanical center is build on the bones of the old city tree farm, which grew trees that we then planted on city streets. ah the irony.

My wife and I, along with a few friends, spent a couple of very nice hours touring the BC this past Saturday. As an added bonus it was free for Providence residents (usual cost is only $3). We followed it up with a carousel ride, and then we hung out by the playground for another hour watching our friend's daughter run around with the other kids. The weather was great and the park was filled with all kinds of people, it was a great day.
