Golden Gate Shopping Center

Well, unfortantely places like Wal-mart are popular with most people today, so stores like this one have lost their market base significantly. On the up and up, I hope something useful like a ACE hardware store, or entertainment venue like a Dave & Busters replaces this store; another grocery store like Trader Joes would be huge mistake for this dying shopping area.

I highly doubt a ACE hardware will go in right there.. A brand new ACE was just built a mile and a half up Elm St. in the Village at North Elm shopping center.

What I am wondering is what is going to go in at this location at Golden Gate.

Maybe a place like the new CompUSA or a similar electronic or computer hardware store. What about a sporting goods store. Or a whole foods place?

It wont be electronics since Staples is in the center, and not another grocer either.

A Walmart Express would be nice. But I guess those are typically built in small towns.

Yes, you won't find a Walmart Express in a city that already has a Walmart Supercenter most likely.

The Starbucks at the Golden Gate Shopping Center will be closing on 2/23/2012.

Just another tenant moving out of this shopping center.

The Harris Teeter and the Starbucks in Golden Gate recently closed their doors. Greensboro is dying.
