Pizza Hut Park set to open

FC Dallas will open their new 21,000-seat Major League Soccer stadium on Saturday August 6th. The $80M stadium is located in Frisco at the intersecton on the North Dallas Tollway and Main Street, just north of the mixed-use Frisco Town Square currently under development. Pizza Hut Park is part of a large sports park that will have 17 regulation size soccer fields. The stadium will be used for FC Dallas and other soccer matches, high school football, and concerts with a built in stage at one end of the stadium. Funding came from a public-private mix with Frisco paying $20M, Collin County $20M, Frisco school district $15M, and Hunt Sports Group $25M.
