The original design for the intercity rail-bus interface had a bridge/tunnel combo over Chapel Hill Street, though it was complicated/expensive because of the heavy freight loads that needed to be supported by the tunnel segment. Hopefully, this will be resolved in years to come and can be implemented.

Yes...very nice and great use of the old space.

Durham's buildings have the benefit of very nice brick work IMHO!...Great job Durham!

I wonder if the firm that is designing Raleigh's MTC center will use any of the old non-descript brick Dillon Supply buildings?
