They showed the program on our local news, and I really wanted to check it out...and the best part, ITS FREE!!! u cant beat getting a program this good for free.

Google has really beeen doing some great things lately..

Yeah I have used it too. It's great. I predict that in a few years Google is going to give Microsoft a run for its money in terms of relevance to PC software.

I can't wait until program is capable of extruding more unique shapes like domes and stuff. Just look at Comerica Tower and Ford Field in that image. St. Louis has it worse with their cubic arch.

Mine has been weird lately since I downloaded Google Earth. I don't excatly know if its that.

I love maps, so something like Google Earth is right up my alley. The pictures of my neighborhood were taken in the spring. They show the crabapple tree in my front yard in full bloom. However, the data is quite dated. It shows buildings that were demolished years ago and Campus Martius Park is nonexistent. Does anyone know how much the upgrade to Google Earth Plus costs and what you get for your money?

What's your computer doing?

I just started using Google Earth and my computer is fine. I really love looking at the cities in 3D, and Detroit looks awesome!
