New Lounge Easttown

Recommended Posts

What the heck.  I'll post this too.  I saw a sign in the window of the old Intersection location advertising the new "Hookah Lounge":

Anyone been to one of these?

This looks like a very interesting place. Couldn't find my way around the site, but looks pretty cool. Eastown might just become hip again (it is quite depressing these days with all the chains and less and less independent stores).

There is quite a network of belly dancers in GR. Could be a good venue. One may also purchase antique opium beds on ebay.

There's a very successful hookah lounge in Ann Arbor called Oz. I liked hanging out there before they got a liquor license, because it was quiet and sedate and extremely relaxing. Now that they're licensed the crowds are crazy. It's not really my scene anymore, but the place is an absolute success. I think the hookah lounge concept would work very well in Eastown.
