It is funny that you posted this picture, because earlier this week I was making that drive down I-385 and thought about how great the mountain view is from there. I was reminded of your picture, and was wanting to see it. Good ESP on that one!

Denton, over at Greenville Daily Photo, posted a photo of an unusual sign I have been meaning to photograph myself. It's the Ambassador Hotel sign that can be seen along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Why there was suddenly an advertisement for a hotel in Duluth, MN (in 1920's prices) was a mystery, but it was discovered that it was used for the movie Leatherheads.

Since the image is copyrighted, I will only link to it.

That is a neat find....great photo. I also noticed his photo from the day before was a shot of the reborn Poinsett sign....another great photo!

I actually like the Symphony Center! It is one of my favorite buildings downtown, although I agree that it is in an odd location.
