Thanks, GS. I'm strictly amateur with my photography. I wouldn't know an f-stop from a hole in the ground. ;)

:) You're a great amateur then! I always look forward to the subject matter of your photos! Never sure what the subject will be, because you always surprise us. And it's always great surprises!:thumbsup:

I am glad you find Greenville so attractive. Fortunately, Greenville is not only photogenic, but very charming and enjoyable in person as well. You'll not be disappointed, I assure you!

Bracketed WB deviation. I didn't have a good tripod with me for manual settings.

I took a bunch of WB bracketed shots over the weekend, but just got the Photomatix yesterday. I also have the newest version of Photoshop CS on the way, so I'll play with that when it comes in.

OK, RT, here's what I've found on CS2's HDR...

There is an automated process called, "Merge to HDR." When I tried this with my WB bracketed photos, I got the message that there was not enough dynamic range in the images to create an HDR image. Photomatix, on the other hand, had no problem with it and produced the images you've seen. I guess I'll need to either switch to AE bracketing or use Photomatix for that purpose.

Here's a shack in Wellford done in HDR with Photomatix. Can't argue with the results, and the program is easy to use.

Photoshop CS2 still has some nice improvements of CS, so it's still worth it from that standpoint.
