Its been awhile since I've pulled my weight around here.

Ditto. I promise...as soon as I get back from West Virginia and can relax/decompress for a few days, I'll go out on a photo expidition...we should all get together some weekened for a photo walk of downtown. That'd be cool. :shades:

Please give credit for these three great aerial shots to Phillips Sky Shots and the Greenville News. Thanks.

-Here is the Greenville News article about a guy named Kelly Phillips who took these great pics with his remote control airplane that I actually saw on opening night of West End Field: http://greenvilleonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/.../607230305/1003

I saw that article on the front page of the business section in today's Greenville News. I also noticed the little remote-controlled plane flying over West End Field on opening night. Talk about having an idea and running, er, uh, flying with it! I imagine it's hard to keep the camera perfectly steady and level though. :whistling:

Thanks, y'all! I have to admit that the addition of this sculpture and the flags on the Greenville News building have done wonders for that corner. You're absolutely right. These are the focus now. There are even lights aimed at them. The Greenville News building is just ... there. I bet it looks even better at night.
