This was sunrise this morning in my backyard. My neighbors flag was flying in his back yard and with this sunrise it looked really cool with it blowing.

The color is beautiful, but you might have tried having a longer shutter time to let the sensor get more light, it's a bit dark on my screen.

Great photo! So many textures....the rusty wheel, the stones, the moss on the stones, the tree branches, shadows, etc. Cool shot!

I worked here for a few years, even before it was Fatz Cafe. I can't beleive that place burned down.

Wasn't it called The Old Mill Stream Fish Camp, I remember they had a big bear in a cage out front,

and one night a week they had all you could eat Shrimp. I loved the place!

I worked there after the bear. About '88, '89 or so. Yep, it was the Old Mill Stream. If that place still existed, even shut down, it would be a welcome addition to that side of town. There were plans for a time to make the back half of the mill that was just storage into an upscale bar. Anyone else remember when that bridge right there over Rocky Creek was a one lane bridge?

Trey, that is an absolutely awesome shot! Yesterday was perfect photography weather, IMO.

Correct. That is a great spot for photos looking toward the mountains. Not much to see elsewhere around downtown, but it will make a great (different) angle for Pinnacle on Main photo updates.

I have the exact same picture as skyliner, but mine's not nearly as pretty , it was just taken from the same place. This was too, just pointing a different way.
