Pedestrian Bridge over Beltline

I was driving the beltline on the westside a few evenings ago and barely noticed the new architectural icon that is the pedestrian bridge. It seems like I read that it was supposed to light up at night. Does anyone know anything about this?

City council voted to fund it (pay the power bill, in other words) a couple months ago. I think it's supposed to be lit with a rather dramatic shade of blue.

At this point, I just assume that the hardware hasn't been installed yet.
