A sample of Portland's urban art scene

the below picture says "PTS not guilty" in refernce to the "P-town soldiers" a portland-based gang which had members arrested recently for armed robery, pistol whipping, drug sales, and school related gun charges. this was taken august 12th on munjoy hill, where most of the members are drwan from.

not sure what "PNU" is but saw it all over.

well, i guess you could say that graffitti is everything on here, whereas some of the pics are truly works of art...obviously not the scribbles...so graffitti can be urban art, but urban art is not necessarily graffitti...although in this case the two could be used interchangably i suppose.
