After years of pretty much quietly going about its business, Montgomery appears to be on the move. There's the Hyundai auto plant under construction, the riverfront/downtown development anchored by the above baseball park and a planned convention center expansion and planned 16-story hotel, and assorted other projects and proposals.

Wow that's a great setting for a ball park.

I'd like to go on a huge road trip and visit a number of minor league fields.

It certainly is the golden age of the small ballpark with ticket prices in the majors being so high.
