I just did a quick search out of curiosity and came across this: Trivia Asylum.

It looks old ("Optimized for IE 4.0"), but I'm sure more of it still holds true. I saw a few that I knew of that were missing and some that I thought were ridiculous.

Is there a better list somewhere?

Any comments on this list?

New Orleans has many nicknames...

The two that are used most often are "The Big Easy" and "The Crescent City"

But there's also "The City That Sin Forgot" "The Original Sin City" "Paris of America"

and "Jewel of the South"

That list says that Miami is the "Magic City"! That's Birmingham's nickname!

The list also forgot about Huntsville's famous nickname- the Rocket City. I have heard someone call Huntsville the "prison city", obviously confusing us with the other Huntsville in Texas.
