I’ve lived in California for over ten years now (hard to believe) and I still get a kick out of spotting a Steelcase truck out here.

I believe it's one of the largest butterfly blooms in the country. The Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha opened a butterfly exhibit in one of their zoo renovations 3 or 4 years ago, but it's only 1/3 to 1/2

I tell ya, we had to park on Fountain Street near the Keeler Building (East of Division), that's how crowded it was downtown. Every meter was taken, and I didn't want to pay $5 or $6 for a ramp spot. And there were groups of people on EVERY sidewalk all the way down to Rosa Parks Circle.

Hmmm, I packed my lunch today :(

Did anyone read the blurb about lighthousedave (Dave Allen) in the paper on Sunday. Look in the lower left hand margin on the front page of the Region section. He was verbally accosted by a strange woman for 20 minutes about her bad experiences with the Grand Rapids Public School system, just because she recognized him being on the school board. Oyyyy!

Come on Rizzo get it right. It's You'll shoot your eye out. I've watched that move every year since it came out. A holliday classic.

I was watching a show on TV a few nights ago about child actors. The actor that played Ralphie turned to working in porn when he got older. Times are tough I guess. :D
