The Watering Hole

Recommended Posts

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

yo yo yo... another Blurry Grand Rapids picture quiz is up. This pic is valued at 30 bonus points (it should be easier than the last one).

Too bad your blog isn't called "jaybloggers Perfectly Crystal Clear (NOT BLURRY) blog"

Then maybe I could make a good guess. ;)

The walls sort of remind me of the Red Cross on Fuller ... but that's not it...

Yes, that is it. It's the Grand Valley Blood Center on Fuller.

I don't know if I should give you the points or not ;)

crap, i guessed on your blog, but after I noticed people already posted the answer.

Correct! dbrok also gets some points because he posted the correct answer on my blog. He gets the full 30. grrwymg will also get some. he backed his way into answering with a "maybe" qualifier, but he had the right idea.

Cheers

there's no mention of it on any of the major news webpages, they do say there are demonstrations in Detroit. I wonder, how does our hispanic population stack up to areas?

It was pre-planned I know that, because I heard about it on the radio this morning on the way to work.
