Man! I hadn't even thought about Christmas! You're right, the atmosphere should be awesome. They should have vendor carts with hot cocoa, funnel cakes, strolling carolers, etc, a la Silver Dollar City.

My wife said the same thing about the hot cocoa vendors! I like those other ideas you mentioned too.

When all the trees start to grow more, they'll be able to put lights all up in the trees. Man that is going to be sweet!!

I'm sure those trees can handle some small strings of lights this Christmas. Granted they're not ready for anything like the Lights of the Ozarks in Fayetteville.

I wanted to let everyone know that you can see the LED Light from the Promenade along the interstate. The light is a bit faint, but it's quite similar to the Luxor light at the Luxor Casino in Las Vegas. I could see it from Pleasant Grove Road, which is a little more than a mile. It's pretty cool.

I'm sure people driving up here for the first time are going to be like "wow what is that". Especially after driving through the nothingness between Springdale and Pinnacle Hills.

Thanks. I wonder if they'll have a Santa, and if so, where they'll put him. Other than sticking him out in the cold by the fountain, I guess he'd have to be in the food court, maybe by the fireplace.

There was mention a while back in the papers that Santa would be there and he would be in the center of the mall, I believe.

That would be awesome. Maybe Santa could ride around the Promenade in a sleigh (carriage) pulled by reindeer (horses). If he's in the center of the Promenade they'll probably erect a decorated covered area for kids to make their Christmas wishes. I do like the idea of having him by the fireplace in the food court but it would be awesome to have him outside with all the lights, the cold air and the Christmas music playing.

Okay, I took more photos of the Promenade. I had to do it a bit commando style in my car. . The odd thing was that I didn't see any security personnel in the area, so it may be safe to take pictures.

Here's some shots of the Best Buy:

The outparcels on the north side, which are still under construction:

Umm, doesn't "commando" mean not wearing any underwear?

You were livin' crazy, weren't you?

Thanks for the pics, I'm going to check it out when I'm up there. It looks different than what I expected but very nice, I like the domes and the sign at the entrance.

The Dillard's is EXACTLY the same as the one at Firewheel Towne Center in Garland (near Dallas).

Thanks for the pics Matt.

Nice pics, has anyone been to NWA Mall recently? I am wondering if it is still busy durring prime shopping days.

I was there at the Mall and some of the other areas near the mall this weekend. To be honest it still looked pretty busy to me. If I had to guess maybe it was slightly less busy. I still had to park pretty have away when I finally found a parking spot.
