As of 3:00pm EDT this afternoon, Shoeless Joe's house had not yet arrived to Field Street/Shoeless Joe Way. There were police cars, a couple of fire engines, and an ambulance; however, no sign of the house.

I'm afraid I'll not be able to get back out there until Thursday night, so if anybody sees it being moved and has a camera handy, it may be worth your time to capture the historical move.

Accoring to an article in today's Greenville News, it sounds as if Shoeless Joe's home won't be moved until today.

Sorry RT the Joe's Home has not arrived at the ball park yet. It does appears that everyone in Greeville is either working on the ballpark or watching! The lights are on and they are testing the sound system, scoreboard etc.

It has arrived. They had a live report at 5 and 6 on WYFF from the new ballpark on Field Street showing the house at its desination point on one side of the street and West End Field on the other.

The video scoreboard was on and working while players were practicing today. You might have seen a glimpse of it when they were having the story about the Greenville Drive at 11 on WYFF.

Just got back from adding a picture of the Spinners to the pylon sign...and will probably be back out tomorrow to add a couple more things to the pylon sign. the stadium is looking good and everyone involved seems to be in a mad dash to finish.

thanks, it's been maddening around here...i'm glad we didn't have to do the whole project......also the New York Life sign went up today on the roof of the Fieldhouse Office Building (field-side).

I just walked around and through the stadium at lunch today.

It's crazy down there. There must be nearly a hundred people painting, hooking things up, paving, shoveling, hammering, etc. It's like a beehive. You have to see it to believe it.
