It seems to average about $2.60 at gas stations in and around the downtown area, however gas stations out on Rt. 9 seem to be much "cheaper", at about $2.45-$2.47/gallon.

The Netherlands is the most expensive place to get gas.

And I'm very sorry Ronald. That can't be fun. Does anyone the Netherlands drive SUVs? Post gas prices in other European countries if you can. It would be interesting to know just how nice we have it over here.

Not sure what the official average is, but about every station in Lansing is $2.75, as of this minute, It was likec $2.61 this morning

I think the national average is $2.55 at the moment. Of course that will change by the time you read this.

Also i just heard that Hawaii is going to put a gas cap in the state on CNN.

In the Hartford area it ranges from about 2.55-$2.85 for a gallon of regualr unleaded.

Was on the the MassPike by Boston and on I-95 just north of Boston and some of the stations on the interstate were charging 2.91-2.95 a gallonn

Earlier this week it cost me $2.589 per gallon for regular. Highest on average I've seen is $2.799. On Miami Beach it's as much as $3.00 for premium.

Thats a good idea. I think we need to institute a national gas cap to rein some of these prices in.

Actually, Venezuela has the cheapest gas on the planet. These prices are from May 2004, but they're gas is still under $0.25 if I remember correctly from an article I read a few days ago.

Interesting, I hadn't heard of that before. Ok, so it's not the lowest but it's near the botton rankings. I heard Iceland is now up to $9.00 a gallon.
