I was browsing through some images I have saved to my computer, when I stumbled across this image.

This is Randolph Street looking south from Farmer. The Water Board Building is on the right; the Wayne County Building is on the left. Beyond the Water Board Building on the right is an interesting building with a turret. What Building is this?

It would have been demolished when they widened Randolph in the 1950s.

I'm not sure what building it is, but I have an interesting fact to add for the Wayne County Courthouse. This picture was taken before they rebuilt the cupola. The courthouse as seen in that pic is 227'-8.5". When the dome and cupola were redone in the 60's the height was increased to the 247' it is today. This is one of the few buildings to have grown in height over time. :)
