Some repeats, most new. I should add that most of this 3 block area is undergoing some form of renovation.

If you know of any artists looking for space, Urban Matters is converting the old Harris Furniture Building into artists lofts, with an art-deco ballroom on the second floor for performance space:

It's amazing that I stood out in the middle of this bombed out construction zone with workers all around, and nobody said one word to me. I must look official ;)

No, not at all. That's what was so funny :P But I usually act like I know what I am doing (even though I don't) and bowl right through. If you look like a person on a mission, most people are afraid to stop you.

I could be mistaken, but was that a "For Sale or Lease" sign on the 101 S. Division building? I thought that the renovation was a go, and more apartments and retail were going to be added to the mix in the area.

Have you ever noticed what it says on the roof line and above the side entry of Degage?

"Loyal Order of Moose"

Haha, I'd like to find the history on that one.

It must have been a Moose lodge, they are still around, at least in Lansing. For more info check their site out: http://www.mooseintl.org/public/default.aspx

What is the construction about in the street? Do the business along the street have
