But we are still waiting on the new design, but this time it might be 30 stories, bringing the total height to about 350 floors instead of just 300(possibly more height depending on the design) The new developer said that it will use quality building materials on the inside and outside, and that it will use a variety(sp?) of colors, which is very much needed, so i cant wait to see the new design.

got an update on the whole boise tower project as well, they got new people together and are currently working on funding for a new building it will we 31 stories at 400' tall, the group that is taking over the project looked it over they found that the foundation that was origionally for the "boise tower" was overbuilt and will suit the newly named "boise place" just fine, they actually said that 90% of the construction that has already been completed tfor the boise tower can be used for boise place!!!! they are hoping to have all the funding within two months and if they get it they will start construction and finish by 2008. its gonna be so sick when its done!

So Boise Place's final hieght will be around 460' tall. Do you guys think they will start construction soon? Or will there be more hurdles and delays for the developers to cross?

Also are there any other mid - high rises proposed for Boise? I know it's a growing area it'd really be cool to see the downtown start to rise even higher.

4 new towers in Boise!

First phase would have a 23 story tower connected with a 6 story tower. The future phase will include a 9 story building and a 7 story building...Things are looking good in Boise with Boise Place, The Aspen, and other projects going up in Idaho's capital.

The Boise Rescue Mission homeless shelter on Front Street could make way for up to 23 stories of condominiums, parking, retail and office.

Clay Carley has partnered with developer Gary Christensen to develop two blocks between Fifth, Sixth, Front and Main streets, including the Boise Rescue Mission site, into what Carley terms a socially and environmentally sustainable community.

Christensen and Carley have submitted plans for the first phase of the project - half a block on Front now occupied by the Rescue Mission and Loma
