A resident of your city is called a ______?

Recommended Posts

I am from Boston and I call myself a Bostonian. New York residents are New Yorkers. There are Atlantans and Los Angelenos. What are the others? Some might sound awkward while others have a ring to them.

These days I'm a Detroiter. I'm originally from Flint though...don't ask what you call people from Flint, because I really don't know....

Fun question. I am a Pittsburgher myself.

This reminds me, there is a town in PA called Mars. I always wonder if its residents are called Martians! :)

Technically if you are from Minneapolis you are a Minneapolitan and if you are from Saint Paul you are a Saint Paulite. But, both tems are so awkward that no one ever uses them. Instead we just say "He's from Minneapolis"
