Philly Gears for Biggest Fringe Festival

A big way to know the summer is officially over is as the throngs

of city residents come back from their beach homes and hit the

streets of old city as the 9th annual Live Arts and Philly Fringe Festival

runs from Sept. 2 thru 17th.

This year the festival is stretching out across the river.

Fringe Expands to University City

For two weeks, every night the corners of old city come alive with

street performers, one man shows and countless venues of unique

artists. I once saw a 1 act play in the back of a taxi.

It is one of the things that makes living in the city cool, yes some of

it is over my head but always something to talk about after the shows.

Tickets are inexpensive and the idea is all about experimenting with

seeing things you normally never would.

It is a must see if you are in the city.
