Its about time people are asking tough questions. The entire evacuation and response to Katrina is unforgivable. I have come to find out today that the reason the Red Cross was not providing food and water right away is that FEMA, yeah FEMA, would not allow them in because it would discourage people from leaving. That is the most pathetic thing I've heard during this whole tragedy.
