Cricket Arena Holding Evacuees

To improve living conditions of those staying in evacuation centers, they are spreading small groups of people all over the country in stadiums and other shelters. In Charlotte they will house 200 at Cricket Arena. The Red Cross will introduce them to our city, help with job placement and whatnot, and hope that they will become residents here in Charlotte.

We need to show that Charlotte is a hospitable, loving city that supports them during this. You can volunteer at this shelter by calling the Red Cross. You will help pass out food, keep them company, whatnot... I am sure the Red Cross needs volunteers who can work a few hours at this shelter every now and then...
