Guide to Greenville

Greenville

Recommended Posts

Earlier today, I noticed that someone on the Charleston board has created a "Guide to Charleston" with facts, figures, and a few images. Here it is:

Then I realized that Greenville needs one of these. Is anyone currently working on something like this for us? The best I have seen is from Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenville,_South_Carolina

I think we can top it. Thoughts?

That would have been IronChapman from over near Atlanta. From what I can discern, he's been creating a thread of this nature for several cities with the help of others, such as Spartan.

I think it would be a great idea to have something like this for Greenville, too! Maybe the young man already has this planned. Perhaps Spartan or IronChapman could weigh in with details, if he does?

We have Greenville, Spartanburg, and Columbia in the works. I suggest you ask the locals for the history too because Wikipedia doesn't give the full history. Its a good starting point though.

Be patient everyone :)

Well, I have a variety of other sources that I can get history from (Encarta, Encyclopedias, city websites, etc)

I haven't had much time to work on my current project (a Charlotte City Profile) lately, but I'll try to finish it up within the next week so I can begin work on a Greenville one. I thank you for your patience :)
