TORONTO Summer [10] Farmers' Market

St. Jacob's is located an hour and a half northwest of Toronto. It has a very vibrant farmers' marke. Local delicacies include maple syrup and summer sausage sold by Mennonite farmers with their horse-drawn buggies. There is also a lot of produce since it is near the end of summer.

While farmers' markets are not particularly new in North America, this one reminded me of Hong Kong's wet markets, only the fruits and vegetables are scattered more in these farmers' markets. Nevertheless, they form a very colorful maze.

Tomatoes are quite easy to grow. I've grown them before and the plants don't attract bugs.
