Thanks for posting that article. People on UP usually don't post crime stories like this but I wish they would more. It's odd that he was just shot in the face, I assume this is an uncommon thing in Manchester?

it used to be un common but wiht all the new night clubs popping up everywhere its happening more and more. yea i went by the scene today its still all taped off but i cant belueve the guy is alive.

The only downside to the success Mayor Baines has had in the revitalization of Manchester is its increasing crime rate. Its still a safe city to live but now there are some of those areas they you would want to stay away from. And even those arent really bad. Baines better do something fast!
