Newberry Place: a Grand Rapids Cohousing Community

You can see the grade change and proximity of homes will create a unique (in West Michigan at least) atmosphere on the interior of the site.

I visited Belknap/Lookout this past week and was pleased to see the progress at Newberry Place. I love this project. I was also pleased to see some of the other work done on area houses. There are some real gems up there. One renovation appeared to be a store front, anyone know if it's a local market? Hopefully Newberry along with the Medical projects on the hill will continue to spur redevelopment in the neighborhood.

Having buildings going up and things to see must have pushed Newberry Place over the top. They only have one townhome left out of the 20. Not bad in a supposedly "down" market.
