What do you think will be the long term effects of Katrina on the city of Detroit? With the influx of refugees as well as the long term devastation of the infrastructure in the south and the rise of gas prices does anyone see Detroit truly impacted in the long term whether in terms of a population increase or finally a widely felt push for mass transit based on the idea that gas prices may not be that low again?
