Is that construction I-93 demolition?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It is the Greenway, which is space freed up by the demolition, which should relatively soon be parkspace and eventually have a few smaller buildings.

^That's awesome! The Big Dig has to be one of the best urban projects I've seen. It seems as if that new green space will totally change the feel of the area.

the greenway will be great. if you look at the first few pictures, you see the bunker hill bridge and I-93. the I-93 tunnel starts right by the fleet center and goes under causway street and continues underground until it emerges again on the other side of kneeland st.

Great pics. I really enjoyed Boston, the last couple days. Although I'm not crazy about spending $14 billion on the Big Dig, the extra park space, linking the waterfront and North End with the rest of town, will be a big boost for the inner city.

Some of those shots make me feel like I'm back up on the old artery.
