It seems from the top picture that the hotel tower is already having a big impact on the skyline (at least from easter market).

Also from counting the floors in the second picture it seems there are at least 25 in place, if it is going to be 30 floors then it is close to toping off.

Just had the buffet for first time at MGM casino. Freakin amazing. It's $27/person on most days except Wed and Thurs where it's $32 I believe. Regardless of the price if you're taken aback, you are in for a huge treat. All dishes were incredibly amazing and it's all you can eat. It was worth every cent. Definitely a top choice for me.

Thanks for the photos, rbdetsport. Greektown turned out the best of all, if you ask me. The multi-colored glass, outcrops, and the font on the signage on the tower is just excellent. You'd think all of the money that the other two spent, they could have come up with some better exterior designs.

I love it! It's some goofy architecture...emphasis on TEXTURE! :)

It's a warm building and to me, makes the whole Greektown experience much more cozy and urban, with a splash of excitement. I hope that it's a catalyst for more urban land use on that part of downtown. My ultimate dream scenario for the east side of downtown is to span over 375 as a walkable, pedestrian-friendly, car-accomodating function. As it is right now, it seems like the vision is more to separate the two sides and I don't like that feeling.
