What is that main shopping street depicted in the first shot? I always see pics of that street and am wondering what it is. To me it kinda looks like hell. Does it just come across that way in photos?

It is Yonge Street. Dont know what you mean by looking like hell but yeah it comes across in the pictures similarly as it would in real life.

Yonge is a great street...one of the great pedestrian friendly shopping/dining/entertainment areas in North America. It's deffinitely not hell.
