Is it just me or does it seem like no one really has any interest in the WNBA? I really like basketball and in past years I would watch games on T.V. when I saw them on and I would even go to at least 1 Detrot Shock game but this season I didn't see any of the games and it doesn't seem like anyone else really cares for it either. The finals are being played right now but I bet barely anyone even knew that.

The WNBA just doesnt interest me like the NBA does.

I became much more interested in the NBA once the hornets moved to New Orleans, but I dont think that even if there was a WNBA team here I would pay much attention to them. I have nothing against womens sports, but they dont really interest me.

You guys don't live in Connecticut. Women's basketball, particularly College BB is big here. The Connecticut Sun would probably sell out if the team actually played in Hartford instead of middle-of-nowhere Mohegan Sun.

The WNBA Charlotte Sting are not popular at all. Maybe they will gain interest with the new downtown arena. I didn't think the WNBA would last this long so maybe they are here to stay.

Yeah, I'm sure when the WNBA was started up in 1997 that not many people thought they would last long but it's 2005 and they are still playing.

I dont think it's going to help the league now that one of their best players announced she is gay. On the plus side, if you are into manly women, you know where to find them.

I don't think that the WNBA is a viable league....i believe that it has been existing only through NBA funds. But then again, the NBA is in trouble because less and less people are tuning in

When the heck does the WNBA season start? I'll support them because they are people living out their dreams and I know how important that is, but i dont even know when it starts.
