Carowinds has it's own issues from lack of investment. It's starting to look run down, and word is the next new rollercoaster will be a 12 year old one purchased from another park.

I understand that Myrtle Beach is suffering badly from over building caused by property speculation that has not gone bust, and smaller numbers of tourists who can no longer afford to go there. And of course since most of the states around MB are out of gasoline, which isn't helping the last part of this year's tourist season.
